How to tell if your crochet amigurumi is “right side out” or “inside out”

Some people like the “inside out” look, but unless you’re instructed to do so, or unless you have decided that actually you like that look, you should learn how to make sure your amigurumi is “right side out”.

There is one easy way to tell which is which. The yarn tail you started with is the “noodle”, and the “noodle” goes in the “bowl”.
